The dream ahead

From 7,000 Children to a Million

Over 7,000 children have already received school supplies, food and encouragement through the Iva and Shiv Foundation. Most people would call that a milestone. Nizi Bhandari calls it the warm-up.

Why a million

Big enough to scare you a little

Nizi will be the first to admit the number sounds enormous. One million children. He says it anyway — because a dream that doesn't scare you a little isn't big enough to be worth chasing. The point of a goal like this isn't that it's easy. It's that it pulls you forward, every single day.

And he's clear about how it happens: not all at once, and never alone. One child, one community, one giving day at a time. Seven thousand smiles became seven thousand reasons to keep going — and each one makes the next a little more possible.

A million children. It starts with the next one.

A goal this size is also an invitation. No single person reaches a million children — but a movement can. Every supporter, every shared post, every sponsored school bag moves the number forward. That's why Nizi tells the goal openly: so that anyone who hears it can decide to be part of it.
