A long way from where he started
Nizi was born in New Delhi and schooled in Mumbai, before making the leap that changes everything for so many immigrant families: at just 19, he moved to Melbourne, Australia. A new country, a new language of life, and the long, unglamorous work of building something from the ground up.
He studied hard, earning a Master of Accounting from Deakin University, and went on to build a career and businesses of his own. But the part of the story he returns to isn't the qualifications or the ventures. It's the kindness — the people who, when he was new and finding his feet, helped his family simply because they could.
